Halo: Behind the Helmet

In a live-action series for Paramount+, “Halo” will take place in the universe that first came to be in 2001 with the launch of Xbox®’s first “Halo” game. Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the Series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

In the games, you—as the player—inhabit the armor, making both the mystery and the understanding of Master Chief very personal and sacred. With the television series, we want to take you on John’s journey and let you experience, as the viewer, his story and evolution. It felt critical to explore the human within the armor and present a deep set of character stories that gives the audience a different way to experience the Halo universe.
